I won’t lie; I am already two books into spooky season and need more. What do you mean it’s not spooky season yet? There are leaves on the ground, and all the coffee shops are selling pumpkin spice, so it must be spooky season. And as it is spooky season, I am here for the scare! This month, I am going to focus on the creepy, the eerie, the macabre, and the terrifying.
Some books I have on hand for this vibe are:
- Brother by Ania Ahlborn
- Fantasticland by Mike Bockoven
- The Hacienda by Isabel Cañas
- Small Horrors by Darcy Coates (This lady is one of my favorite horror writers!)
- Episode Thirteen by Craig DiLouie
- This Wretched Valley by Jenny Kiefer
- Her Little Flowers by Shannon Morgan
These are just options and I may choose to read other creepy freaky messy books, but the vibe is scare me please, I want to be scared! Let’s see how close we can get.
I’ll update you as we go along, just fun little bits and pieces, thoughts and maybe some quotes to tease you until I can post my end of month wrap up.
Until the next page,
Dani
