So, bonus points if you get the song reference. Anyway, I let my ADHD have its way with me and got pulled away on my own brand of chaos again. But I am back, and I hope you still love me. I did my spooky theme in September, just like I promised, reading a total of four books and DNFing one. I will post separate reviews for each one following this post, so just hold out for me. In October, I was all over the place! I bounced around from mangas to romantasy, with a random sports romance thrown in to keep me on my toes. I’ll be sure to post those reviews as well. I’m not entirely sure how to review a manga, but I will figure it out, don’t you worry. Now, I asked some friends for recommendations for a Not Picking My Reads November, and that is still what I want to do, but with how I am jumping around like a sugared-up toddler, I can’t say what I will actually end up doing.
I may be biting off more than I can chew, especially when Grace gave me trilogies for her three recommendations, not stand-alones. She appears to have ambitions for my reading habits this month… Each of my friends gave me three recs to choose from.
- Taelore:
- Threads That Bind (Currently unfinished series.)
- Dark Rise (Also an unfinished series. Maybe she hates me?)
- Masters of Death
- Graceling
- The Whispering Dead (This is a five(?) book series!)
- The Bone Spindle Trilogy (Thank Goddess I already read the first one.)
- A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Trilogy
- Addz
- Mistborne (This would be my first Sanderson novel.)
- Night Circus
- And Then There Were None
- Hi-dee
- Incidents Around the House (I will more than likely start with this one!)
- Asylum
- The Reformatory
Now, I am rereading Belladonna by Adelyn Grace so that I can binge the sequels now that they are out, but once I knock those out, I will tackle this very impressive list from my besties. Shout out to Grace, Taylor, Addie, and Heidi for answering my random, middle-of-nowhere post all those weeks ago. I adore you all with my entire being.
What are you reading this month? Have you read the books they recommended to me? If you have, what were your thoughts? Share with me in the comments!
Until the next page,
Dani
One response to “Oops, I Did It Again…”
I love Dark Rise and Incidents Around the House was great! Threads That Bind and Asylum are on my TBR, Masters of Death is on my audio list, and I personally wasn’t a fan of Mistborn or The Night Circus!
